The Anthropoidea Suborder

The Anthropoidea suborder consists of the simian primates. These primates are characterized by an increased reliance on sight, reflected by their shorter snout (reduced olfactory) and close eye sockets. All members of this suborder have stereoscopic?, color vision. Anthropoids differ from prosimians in that they lack the grooming claw, tooth comb and tapetum lucidem? in their eyes. Anthropoids are generally larger than prosimians and their hind and fore limbs are roughly equal in length.
