Members of the Callicebinae subfamily are known as Titi monkeys. They are arboreal? and diurnal?. They rarely descend to the ground and tend to live in moist areas of the forest near rivers. Titi monkeys are primarily frugivores?, but will sometimes feed on insects, birds' eggs and small vertebrates. They live in groups that consist of family members and when two titi monkeys sit beside each other, they usually intertwine their long fluffy tails.
