The Hilton Wichita Airport is proud to offer lodging arrangements for the 2007 ChimpanZoo Conference. The Hilton has extended a special room rate of $109.00 (plus applicable state and local taxes) for Conference attendees.

To receive the special room rate, please mention the code: JANE.

Room reservations must be received no later than September 25, 2007. Reservations received after this date will be accepted based on availability, at the best available rate at time of reservation.

All reservations are held until 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. If you wish to guarantee your reservations, the hotel requests a credit card, or advanced deposit to hold the room past 4:00 p.m. A guaranteed reservation must be cancelled with the hotel before 4:00 p.m. should you be unable to stay, otherwise you will be billed.

When arriving at the Wichita Mid Continent Airport, ChimpanZoo guests can call the Hilton Wichita Airport hotel to arrange for a shuttle to pick them up. The phone is located in the baggage claim area of the terminal building.

Guests should then proceed outside to the waiting area designated so the Bellman will recognize them as hotel guests. Signs are posted to direct guests where to wait. This service is complimentary and is available at all times.

The hotel's second shuttle is also available upon request, to transport guests to various destinations and area attractions within a 3 mile radius of the airport. As a general rule, this service is available as long as the hotel is staffed with a second Bellman (which they routinely do during peak hours of operation/request times).

The hotel will make exceptions to going beyond the 3 mile radius on a case by case basis, depending on all areas of hotel operation needing consideration, at the time the request is made. The Sedgwick County Zoo is outside the 3 mile radius, however, the hotel will do their best to accommodate any who miss their main lines of transportation to this specific destination.
